Brake Leveling Valve

Jul 09,2022

The Leveling Valve is a vehicle suspension system that controls ride height and cabin level. They are attached to the vehicle's chassis or air suspension lever and change the cabin's position by pressurizing the air bellows. A typical Leveling Valve installs as a load-dependent height control. The "height-limit" version restricts lift action when the body is higher than the chassis. The EGP Leveling Valve is a popular choice for high-end performance vehicles.

The Leveling Valve preferably comprises three valve parts. The spool-shaped valve includes a cylindrical central section 244 and a first flange 246 and a second flange 248, which are radially spaced from the center of the end wall 42. The valve has two threaded openings, 52a-c and 52d, each extending outward from the end wall 42. Each opening is in fluid communication with an inner surface 256.

A Height Control Valve is an essential part of your vehicle suspension system. It controls the ride height by controlling the flow of air into and out of the air spring. The valve has an inlet and exhaust port and is connected to the pressurized air system and air bags. When set in the "first" position, the height control valve can lower the vehicle's ride height by one inch, while raising it by an inch. Likewise, if the vehicle's height is too high, the ride height will drop.

The Covering Valve is mounted on a frame with the manifold cover 266. The cover's outer surface 96 abuts the frame rail 16 when the valve assembly 10 is mounted. The o-ring seal 94 and cover 32 form a sealed seal between the manifold cover and the valve assembly 10.

The PR Plus leveling valve uses ceramic seal technology to ensure reliable and long-lasting performance. When installed with the 90555263, the PR Plus valve plugs into the two delivery ports. It provides a higher level of precision in ride height variation adjustments. The list of compatible vehicles may not be complete. Additional applications may also be available. If you do not see your vehicle on the list, contact the manufacturer to determine if it is compatible with the PR Plus Leveling Valve.

The Height Control Valve comprises a disc that rotates between a first and a second position. The disc has a fill slot and an exhaust slot. One end of the disc is connected to a shaft 36 that extends downward from the frame rail 16. The opposite end of the shaft is joined to a lever assembly 38. These components are joined together by a shaft in fluid communication with the first and second ports. A lever assembly is connected to the opposite end of the shaft.

The flow rate control is used to control the flow rate in and out of the air spring 14. The valve assembly 10 is designed to turn on and off at a slower rate. This prevents it from overcompensating for small changes, which correspond to smaller angular rotations of the disc 34. As a result, the flow rate in and out of the air spring 14 is relatively small. This means that the relative distance between the trailing arm 20 and frame rail 16 does not change a significant amount.

The Height Control Valve regulates the flow of air to the suspension air springs. This ensures a consistent ride height. With its Advanced Shear-Seal (r) design, the Hendrickson 54341 Air Suspension Valve provides superior performance and durability. All air suspensions are compatible with the Hendrickson height control valves. You can install your Leveling Valve with ease. It will improve the ride quality of your ride.
