What are the requirements for the use environment of hand brake valve

Mar 10,2025

Temperature is a crucial factor in the performance of hand brake valves. The hand brake valve interior design contains precision mechanical structures and high-performance sealing materials, and the performance of these components in high or low temperature environments may be significantly affected. According to industry standards, the ideal operating temperature range of hand brake valves is -40°C to 80°C. Within this range, the sealing performance, response speed and durability of the hand brake valve can reach the best condition. However, when the ambient temperature exceeds this range, the sealing material may experience problems such as aging and deformation, which directly affects the sealing effect and response speed of the valve. Therefore, in extreme climates, drivers need to pay special attention to the parking environment of the vehicle and avoid long-term exposure to high or low temperature environments to ensure the normal operation of the hand brake valve.

Humidity is also an important factor affecting the performance of hand brake valves. High humidity environment may cause rust and corrosion of metal parts inside the valve, and the sealing material expands and deforms due to water absorption, which will directly affect the sealing performance of the valve. In addition, humidity may accelerate the aging process of sealing materials and shorten their service life. Therefore, in environments with high humidity, the driver should strengthen the inspection and maintenance of the brake system, especially regularly check the sealing performance and cleanliness of the hand brake valve to ensure its normal operation.

In addition to temperature and humidity, cleanliness is also an important consideration in the use environment of hand brake valves. Dust, oil and other impurities may invade the inside of the hand brake valve through the air inlet or exhaust port, resulting in valve stagnation and seal failure. Such failures not only significantly reduce the performance of the brake system, but may also cause serious safety hazards. Therefore, the driver should regularly clean the vehicle, especially thoroughly clean the hand brake valve and its surrounding areas to ensure the cleanliness of the internal and external environment of the valve.

In addition, vibration and impact are also factors that cannot be ignored in the performance of hand brake valves. During the vehicle's driving, especially in harsh road conditions, the hand brake valve may experience strong vibration and impact from the road surface. These external factors may cause the valve internal parts to be loose, deformed or damaged, thereby affecting their normal operation. Therefore, the driver should try to avoid violent operation during driving to reduce vibration and impact of the opponent's brake valve. At the same time, during the maintenance and repair of the vehicle, the hand brake valve should be carefully inspected to promptly discover and solve potential problems to ensure that it is always in a good working state.
