The release phase of the Brake Foot Valve is the critical phase for the braking system to change from the braking state to the release state. At this stage, when the driver releases the brake pedal, the Brake Foot Valve quickly returns to its initial state through its reset mechanism, closing the air circuit and returning the brake system to the release state.
Pedal release:
The release phase begins when the driver releases the brake pedal. This causes the valve core in the valve body to be quickly acted upon by the spring force and begin to move and change the state of the air circuit.
Spring return:
Valve core reset: The valve core is acted upon by the spring force and quickly returns to the initial position. This process ensures that the air circuit is closed as quickly as possible and the brake system switches from the braking state to the release state.
Air circuit closed:
Air circuit closure: The movement of the valve core causes the air circuit to close, disconnecting the air source from the brake cylinder. This means that the gas in the brake cylinder is released and the braking force gradually decreases.
Braking force is reduced:
Braking force release: Since the air circuit is closed, the gas in the brake cylinder no longer maintains a high-pressure state, and the braking force on the brake drum or brake disc gradually decreases. The vehicle gradually returns to a moving state due to the reduction in braking force.
Brake system recovery:
Reset completed: After the reset of the valve core is completed, both the Brake Foot Valve and the braking system return to the release state. The gas in the brake cylinder is completely released, and the braking force on the brake drum or brake disc drops to zero.
To prevent accidental braking:
Anti-lock Brake System Works Together: In some advanced braking systems, the Brake Foot Valve may work in conjunction with other safety systems such as the Anti-lock Brake System (ABS). This ensures that no unintended braking occurs during the release phase, thereby increasing vehicle stability and safety.
Designed with expert precision, this pedal valve effectively controls the air pressure in the brake lines, ensuring smooth and responsive braking.
With its durable construction and advanced engineering, this valve guarantees long-lasting performance, making it a cost-effective investment for vehicle owners.
By effectively regulating the air pressure, this pedal valve enhances the overall braking efficiency, reducing the risk of accidents and promoting safety on the road.
